Kissing the wrong guy days before her wedding leads Allison to become a runaway bride. But can it also lead to happily ever after?Allison Denman is supposed to get married in five days, but everything is all wrong: the huge wedding, the frothy dress, and the groom.
Still, kissing the groom’s brother in an unguarded moment is decidedly not the right thing to do. How could she have made such a mistake? It seems Allison’s life is nothing but mistakes at this point. And pulling a “Runaway Bride,” complete with “borrowing” her best friend’s car, doesn’t seem to solve her problems.
Can Allison find her way out of this mess? She prefers to be the one in control, and giving it up is not going to be easy. But to find her way again, she will have to believe that God has a plan for her and find the strength to let Him lead.
Wish You Were Here is fun and full of humor—sure to be a pleasure to inspirational romance readers.
This was a great book romance and religion play a key role, when Allison decides at the last minute to pull a Julia Roberts and run out on her wedding she knows that marrying Seth was the wrong choice now if only he would see that he doesn’t really know her. As time passes Allison is drawn to Daniel but begins to question whether that is the right thing and works on doing what she wants and not what others want her to do. As she goes through moving on with her life after the dreaded wedding run, she finds herself having to spell it out to Seth that they aren’t right for each other. Daniel on the other hand tries many times to keep Allison at arms length and not give in to his love for her. At the end everything comes to a head and Allison has to make some tough decisions but with faith on her side she is able to make them. It was a great book of what happens when you think you found the one when in reality it was more safety and security!
