Professional psychic Abby Cooper has invested in a fixer-upper, hoping to make a killing in the real estate market. My Review:

This series never seems to fail and gets better and better with each book. This one opens up with Abby’s boyfriend getting shot in the rear. Abby rushes back to play nursemaid to her boyfriend. Meanwhile Abby, Cat and Dave go into a business to fix up lost cause houses and fix them up and resell them. What the three didn’t realize is that Abby’s newly bought house has duo ghosts fighting with each other. One is the grandfather and original owner of the house the other is Liza a Austrian woman who had to go into hiding during WWII. Dave is adamant after encountering attacking tools of the trade not to go into the house. The few times Abby has suckered him into the house he’s brought holy water, garlic etc. This series gets better and the bantering between her and Dutch is classic and cracks me up to no end. I am really starting to think that Ms. Laurie has given Ms. Harris a run for her money. While Sookie is good with the vamps, but Ms. Laurie has hit on a whole new great thing with Abby Cooper. Definitely worth the investment in this series.
